ताप्ती मेस में एक शाम नंदीग्राम और मरीचझांपी के नाम

नन्दीग्राम नरसंहार और मूलनिवासियों के कत्लेआम को सिरे से समझने के लिए बेहद जरूरी फिल्म है यह

साढ़े तीन साल के शोध के बाद बनी इस फिल्म में चालीस घंटे के रशेज का अत्यन्त संपादित अंश है। जिसमें सभी संबंधित पक्षों से आमने सामने बातचीत, गायब व मृत समझे गये प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों की आपबीती, विभाजन के बाद दलित बंगाली शरणार्थियों की संघर्ष गाथा और सैन्यकृत सत्ता वर्चस्व के तथ्यों को परत दर परत पेश किया गया है। जनवरी, १९७९ में हुए इस जनसंहार की पृष्ठभूमि में आज के ग्लोबल यहूदी, हिन्दू, श्वेत उत्तर आधुनिक कारपोरेट साम्राज्यवाद और विश्वव्यापी सत्तावर्ग और उसकी मनुष्यविरोधी प्रकृतिविरोधी संस्कृति को समझने और उसके मुकाबले हेतु ग्लोबल प्रतिरोध के लिए लामबंद होने की तैयारी में है यह फिल्म। कृपया सभी मित्रों को सूचित कर दें।

The venue of the screening of the film on Marichjhanpi has been fixed as follows:

9.30 pm, Tapti Mess, JNU.

The Tapti Mess has been chosen as the open air theatre is a large area and on 14th late evening there are two other competing programs at JNU. If the crowd is not large enough the audience will look empty, but at the the Tapti mess around 200 people can be accomodated and it is hoped the hall will be full.

We are planning to hold another screening of the documentary at a venue more centrally located in Delhi at a later date, probably before the end of March. I will let you know of these details as they are finalised.
